The town of Lakewood Village, Texas currently has 370+ residents living in single family detached homes in a currently secluded residential lake side village with a quiet country atmosphere. They are pretty much self reliant except for agreements with the neighboring town of Little Elm to provide city services including EMS and Fire Department response. Law Enforcement is provided by the Denton County Sheriff's Office. Lakewood Village utilizes the Little Elm Independent School District LEISD for quality education.

Town of Little Elm Texas

The Town of Little Elm Texas neighbors Lakewood Village. Little Elm's 21,000+ resident town is more of what people think of as a rapidly growing mid sized Texas Town compared to Lakewood Village in that Little Elm has all of the town infrastructure, resources, associated businesses and creature comforts. Whereas residents of Lakewood Village drive a couple minutes to Little Elm and utilize these resources.

City of Frisco Texas

Comparing Lakewood Village to Frisco Texas is like comparing an apple to an apple orchard. The city of Frisco Texas has subdivisions larger than Lakewood Village. Frisco is one of the most rapidly growing cities in the country with an infrastructure master planned to handle the new home construction growth in a well designed and controlled process.
